Job Purpose Ensuring that the school campus and facilities are well maintained in a manner that allows students to benefit from the state-of-the-art campus and the full range of a SABIS education. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring the maintenance of all functional building systems relating to campus utilities; ensuring minimization of disruptions to the running of the campus facilities arising from maintenance incidents.Conducting daily inspections of the new construction, repair work, grounds, special projects, equipment, work orders, daily maintenance, and supplies for the purpose of ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, and assets are well maintained.Planning, organizing, and overseeing the implementation of planned preventative maintenance, routine maintenance and any special projects within budget and set KPIs.Ensuring that all completed work of any preventive maintenance, health, safety, and security incident is being filed properly, along with the analysis of the maintenance expenses.Ensuring that the school grounds and exterior areas are attractive and well maintained by planning work assignments and actively supervising the quality of grounds keeping services.Producing periodic utility reports in a timely manner.Conducting risk assessments, evaluating findings, and applying proactive measures and contingency plans.Ensuring that established standards are achieved by regularly inspecting the work of grounds personnel, directing corrective measures to be taken when necessary and appropriate, in addition to conducting and coordinating the training of groundskeepers on the safe and proper operation of all tools and equipment.Researching new products, for the purpose of recommending purchases, and maintaining a wide range of services.Responding to all maintenance-related inquiries from different stakeholders aiming at resolving problems, providing information, and/or referring to appropriate personnel.Providing a safe campus environment by supervising and coordinating the removal of any unnecessary obstacle from all school grounds.Fostering good working relationships with statutory regulators to ensure compliance with rules and regulations at all times.Liaising with officials in governmental departments on matters related to school and building licenses and other legal paperwork.Ensuring that all visitors, staff, and outsourced personnel are adequately instructed in environmental health, safety, and welfare whilst on campus, responding adequately to emergencies or urgent issues arising.Overseeing the implementation of Solid Waste Management.Performing such other related tasks as needed and requested by SABIS and/or the School Director respectively. Ideal Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related fieldEnglish proficientA minimum of 4 years of experience in the maintenance fieldGood experience in the MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems)Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD software; Revit is a plus.Professional Behavior and Ethical ConductCommunication skillsAbility to work within a team Employment Requirements: Must meet all employment requirements including, but not limited to, country and local education and certification requirements, reference checks, and criminal background checks.
