Elevator CAD Drafter

We are seeking an energetic and experienced CAD Drafter to join the Insignia team! The ideal candidate will have experience creating 2D and 3D drawings, ensuring that designs meet safety standards and client specifications. Primary Responsibilities: Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings of elevator systems using BlueBeam and SolidWorks. Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet safety standards and client specifications. Review and modify drawings based on feedback and project requirements. Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions. Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in CAD technology. Develop engineering drawings, conceptual plans, and exhibits for projects of various sizes and complexities. Plan, research, and produce contract drawings based on project engineer, review agencies, and client needs. Determine CAD usage and application on projects. Recognize and resolve potential construction conflicts and difficulties identified during design. Aid in the preparation of technical specifications as requested by the project engineer. Estimate the number of sheets, contract drawings, and production time required for review by the design manager. Ensure overall consistency, quality, technical accuracy, and design on projects. Provide support to manufacturing facilities and create 3D renderings for marketing. Review engineering drawings for accuracy and adherence to standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
